Frequently Asked Questions 🕵🏼

Window Cleaning:

How do you clean windows?

We use the Water Fed Pole method to leave your windows beautifully clean in nearly all weather conditions. Your windows will be thoroughly washed with purified water and left to dry naturally as we remove any contaminants that usually cause spotting or limescale which are found in regular tap water.

How often will you come?

We only offer our service to regular customers and you can choose from either a 4 or 8 week cleaning schedule.

How do I pay?

We only accept automated payment by Direct Debit (legacy customers have been able to pay with card, but we are now phasing this out). Payments are only processed once your clean has been completed and you’ll always be notified by email once we’ve charged you. We do not accept manual payments such as cash or bank transfer under any circumstances.
Payment services are provided by GoCardless, LTD.

Do you send appointment reminders or just turn up?

We always confirm your appointments by text message and email the day before you’re due. This not only gives you a heads up that you’ll be receiving a visit from us, but it means you can make sure access is available so we can successfully clean your property on time and without disturbing you.

What if I don’t want a clean on a particular day?

We carry out hundreds of cleans every month, so we have to be meticulous with our planning. This sadly means we cannot cater for specific days etc as you will be placed in rotation with other nearby customers. If you need to postpone your clean for any reason you need to tell us by email as soon as possible. Cancellations made on the day of your appointment are too late and we may charge you full price for a missed clean.
Further details of scheduling will be found in our Terms of Service when you receive your quote.

Can you provide an invoice?

We’ll always send you a ‘paid’ watermarked invoice by text message and email as soon as we’ve processed your payment so you can save or print this for your records or expenses.

What if I have an issue with my clean?

We are extremely proud of the service we deliver and guarantee you’ll be delighted too. We’re so confident you’ll be happy that we’ll schedule you a complete re clean of your property free of charge if you find any reason not to love your freshly cleaned windows within 24 hours of your appointment all year round.

Can I cancel anytime?

Whilst we hope you are prepared to commit for as long as you can to really make the most of our service we appreciate sometimes you may need to cancel for unforeseen reasons. If you need to end your service, just let us know by email and we’ll arrange this for you. Please do not just cancel your Direct Debit as your payments can take up to 9 days to reach us. If your payment fails we’ll need to send you a bill to bring your balance up to date before we can close your account. We’ll always confirm by email once we’ve processed your request.

Additional Services:

How do you empty gutters?

We use an awesome piece of kit from our friends at
Spinaclean which is a high powered wet vacuum with 30ft reach. This paired with their remote camera with live feed which allows us to inspect and clear your gutters of debris and moss in real time and safely from the ground. We bring our own generator too, so we don’t need access to power and you won’t need to be home for the service to be carried out.

How do I pay?

If you’re an existing customer with us, we’ll simply debit your usual payment option upon completion of your service. If you wish to use an alternative payment method for our additional services, just let us know when you receive your appointment confirmation and we’ll be happy to help.

If you’re new to us, welcome, but we do ask for a 25% deposit to secure your appointment. We’ll send you an invoice once you’ve accepted your quote and take your final balance in person by credit or debit card once your appointment has been completed. A receipt and paid invoice will be emailed to you as soon as we’ve received your payment.

What’s included with my PVC clean?

Depending on which choices you’ve made on our quote form, our PVC clean will usually include the emptying of your gutters on all sides of your house and conservatory/garage block as well as a complete wash of all your external plastic including gutters, soffits, apexes, windows, frames, sills and doors as well as garage doors (if applicable) to leave your property looking its very best.
